Free-Range Chicken

A clean, highly digestible protein source that provides essential amino acids to help maintain lean body condition. Selected for its gentle digestibility and ability to deliver meaningful nourishment in dogs who benefit from kidney-conscious nutrition.

Chicken Liver

A nutrient-dense organ meat that delivers naturally occurring vitamin A, iron, and B vitamins in small, concentrated amounts. Included to enhance nutrient density while remaining highly digestible.

Chicken Heart

A lean, digestible source of protein that provides essential amino acids and naturally occurring taurine. Supports overall nutritional balance while contributing to the diet’s gentle, whole-food foundation.

Calcium Carbonate

A source of calcium included to help maintain appropriate dietary mineral balance as part of this thoughtfully formulated kidney-conscious diet.

Beef

Red meat is naturally lower in phosphorus than many white meats such as chicken, turkey, or fish. Beef provides highly digestible protein — the building block for muscles, ligaments, skin, and cellular maintenance — while delivering meaningful nourishment in a kidney-conscious, mineral-controlled diet.

Rice

Rice is included very intentionally in this recipe. While we typically prioritize lower-carbohydrate, meat-forward formulations for healthy dogs, kidney-support nutrition follows different priorities. Here, rice provides a gentle, highly digestible source of energy with naturally low mineral contribution, helping support a carefully balanced phosphorus profile while promoting steady calorie intake and easy digestion.

Egg

Egg is a complete, highly digestible protein containing all nine essential amino acids. Its naturally lower phosphorus level makes it a valuable ingredient when thoughtful mineral balance is a priority in renal-conscious nutrition.

Beef Liver & Kidney

Organ meats are naturally nutrient-dense, supplying concentrated levels of essential vitamins and minerals in smaller portions. This helps deliver meaningful nutrition without increasing overall food volume, an important consideration when supporting dogs with reduced appetite or lower intake.

Flaxseed

Flaxseed provides fiber and naturally occurring plant compounds that support normal digestion and nutrient utilization, helping the body make the most of every meal.

Sweet Potato

Sweet potatoes offer gentle, digestible carbohydrates along with fiber and antioxidants, contributing steady energy and nutritional diversity in an easy-to-utilize form.

Ground Krill

Ground krill supplies marine-sourced omega-3 fatty acids including EPA and DHA, along with naturally occurring astaxanthin, to support the body’s normal inflammatory balance and overall wellness.

Blueberries

Rich in naturally occurring antioxidants and phytonutrients, blueberries help support the body’s normal response to everyday oxidative stress as part of a kidney-conscious diet.

Beets

Beets contribute fiber and micronutrients such as vitamin C, manganese, folate, and potassium, helping broaden the recipe’s nutritional diversity while remaining gentle on digestion.

Potassium Chloride

Potassium chloride helps maintain balanced potassium levels and supports normal hydration and electrolyte balance: important for dogs benefiting from moisture-supportive nutrition.

Ground Egg Shell

Ground egg shell is a natural source of calcium used to thoughtfully balance the recipe’s overall calcium-to-phosphorus ratio, supporting controlled mineral intake.

Chitosan

Chitosan is derived from the outer shells of shellfish such as lobster and crab. In this recipe, it works alongside other whole-food ingredients to help support balanced phosphorus levels as part of the overall mineral design.

Kelp

Kelp is a sea vegetable that provides iodine and naturally occurring trace minerals, contributing to comprehensive nutritional support.

Mixed Tocopherols

A natural source of vitamin E used to maintain freshness while contributing antioxidant support.

Zinc Proteinate

Chelated zinc included to support normal nutrient utilization and overall immune function.

B Vitamins

Niacin, riboflavin, thiamine, vitamin B12, pyridoxine, and folic acid help support normal energy metabolism and nutrient processing, assisting the body in efficiently converting food into usable energy.
