What's the difference between Felix's Flora, Love Bugs, Healthy Gut and Gut Soothe?
All our probiotic blends have the same base which is our Love Bugs. This is a 14 probiotic blend with an added prebiotic larch.

Healthy Gut is Love Bugs with added digestive enzymes, Gut Soothe is Love Bugs with added herbs and nutraceuticals to help reduce inflammation of the smooth muscle (think, digestive tract, nasal passages, lungs, bladder, etc.) Here’s a video that can tell you more.

Felix's Flora is the newest in our line and absolutely amazing, especially if you need to use antibiotics. The researchers and scientists I worked with identified and cultivated three focal derived feline species of probiotics/ beneficial gut bacteria. We chose these bacteria specifically to:
• Strengthen your cat's immune system
• Help keep your cat's gastrointestinal tract calm during times of stress
• Produce metabolites that fight against bacteria like E. coli and salmonella
• Improve availability of nutrients to the diet
• Improve production of neurotransmitters in the brain
• Pass through stomach acid to work in the small intestine

Is Felix's Flora intended for short or long-term usage?
We recommend rotating through probiotics unless you’re giving them for a specific reason (like Felix's Flora during and after antibiotic use).

Larch Arabinogalactan
Prebiotic Larch Arabinogalactan is a Larch tree extract that supports colon health. It is often used as an effective adjunct to cancer therapies due to its ability to stimulate the immune system and block metastasis of tumor cells. Its uses in people include chronic fatigue syndrome, viral hepatitis, HIV/ AIDS, and autoimmune diseases. It is also commonly used for infections.

Papain
Papain, a substance derived from the unripe tropical fruit papaya, is a proteolytic enzyme. Papain helps the body break down protein foods, like animal meat, and is commonly used to support the improvement of gastrointestinal dysfunction and digestive issues. Chemicals in Papain may increase immune system function and they may also promote the release of natural chemicals that attack tumor cells. Papain is anti-parasitic.

Bromelain
Bromelain is a protein-digesting enzyme mixture derived from the stem, fruit, and juice of the pineapple plant. When taken with food, it aids in the proper digestion and absorption of food as it breaks down protein. When it is taken between meals, it is absorbed intact and circulates through the body where it exhibits anti-inflammatory and pain relieving actions.
